This Schedule Can Change Your Life

This schedule can change your life. Not because any one thing on this list is groundbreaking, but because small changes add up when you repeat them consistently.
A daily walk. A weekly reset. Making time for people you love. Keeping your home feeling good. Checking in with your goals. Doing something every month that makes life feel exciting.
These are simple edits, but together they can start changing the way your days, and eventually your life, look and feel.
And you don’t need to do everything on this list at once.
Start with a few that feel important to you right now. Let them become part of your normal routine. Then go from there.
Here’s a simple daily, weekly and monthly schedule to get you started.
This schedule can change your life:
Daily
Get sunlight within one hour of waking
Start your day with a glass of water
Take a 30-minute walk
Stretch for 5-10 quiet minutes
Have at least one meaningful conversation
Do one thing your future self will thank you for
Your daily edits are the small things that can change how an ordinary day feels. They don’t need to be complicated or take hours.
Getting outside. Moving your body. Taking a few quiet minutes for yourself. Connecting with someone you care about. Doing something today that makes tomorrow a little easier.
And “one thing your future self will thank you for” can be incredibly simple:
Book the appointment you’ve been putting off
Prep something for tomorrow
Go to bed earlier
Put away the pile that has been bothering you
Take one small step toward a goal
Finally do the thing you keep saying you’ll get to later
You don’t have to turn your morning or evening into a two-hour routine.
Start with a few things that make your days feel better and repeat them.
Weekly
Work out 2-4 times
Take one guilt-free rest night
Plan one date with your partner / yourself / a friend
Track your goals, habits and routines
Declutter a few things
Some things don’t need to happen every day to make a big difference.
Your weekly rhythm gives you a chance to take care of your body, reset your space, spend intentional time with people you love and make sure you haven’t completely lost sight of what you’re working toward.
I also think every week should include something you genuinely look forward to.
It could be dinner with a friend, a date night, a slow morning by yourself, trying a new restaurant, going somewhere with your family, or simply planning a night where you do absolutely nothing.
A life you love needs more than productive habits. It also needs rest, connection and things that make your week feel good.
Monthly
Declutter a specific area of your home (like a junk drawer or linen closet)
Deep clean your space
Reset your home (a full tidy-up, put everything away)
Do a goals and life check-in
Plan one wellness day
Do something new that makes life feel exciting
Once a month, take a little time to zoom out.
This doesn’t need to turn into a giant life audit. It’s simply a chance to notice what’s working, what has started feeling off and what might need a small edit before another month goes by.
Ask yourself:
What felt really good this month?
What do I want more of?
Is there anything I’ve outgrown?
What have I been putting off?
Is there an area of my life that needs more attention?
What could I put on the calendar that would make next month feel exciting?
Maybe you realize your home has started feeling cluttered again. Maybe you haven’t seen your friends enough. Maybe you’ve fallen out of a routine that made you feel good. Maybe you’ve been so busy maintaining life that you haven’t done anything new or fun in a while.
You don’t have to fix everything. Notice what needs an edit, choose where you want to start, and keep going.
Small Edits Can Create a Very Different Life
Your life is built in the way you live it every day.
That’s why these small edits matter. They’re not just habits to check off, they’re choices that shape how your life feels, what you make time for, and the kind of person you’re becoming.
Changing your life doesn’t always happen because of one enormous decision. Often, it happens because you make a few small choices, repeat them, and eventually they become the way you live.
The walk becomes normal
Keeping your space tidy becomes normal
Making plans with people you love becomes normal
Checking in with your goals becomes normal
Taking care of yourself becomes normal
Making room for fun becomes normal
Start with a few that feel right for you. Let them become part of your normal. Then, once those things feel like part of your life, make another edit.
Because creating a life you love rarely happens all at once. It happens when you keep choosing, little by little, to live in a way that reflects the life you want.
And if you’re ready to go deeper, the 40-Day Life Edit Challenge will help you do exactly that, intentionally edit the areas of your life that feel stuck, outdated, or no longer aligned, and start creating a life you’re obsessed with, one edit at a time.
